Up Coming Concerts at The Pink Piano Café & Lounge in Lower Sackville

The Pink Piano

We are hosting shows in an intimate setting, very much like a house concert, where you can be up close and personal with the artists.
All concerts start at 7:30 PM. Doors will be open by 7 or earlier as it is a restaurant/bistro.
We record and sometimes video tape these shows. We may have a Q&A and do some interview segments. If you have questions in advance, let me know and we can get to know the artist together!

ECMA and Music NS multi award winning, touring & recording artist playing guitar and piano and blessed with a great sense of humour too.
Bad ideas, VCRs, crumbling factories, terrible therapists, hairy dogs, wrinkled shirts, French fries, questionable tattoos…all are fair game for Nova Scotian funeral director-turned-songwriter Terra Spencer. And the songs are good ones, judging from the stack of awards her three albums have received, and from the caliber of her collaborators, which include David Francey, Ben Caplan, and Matt Andersen. Although her butterscotch voice, deft fingerstyle guitar, and gospel-charged piano make her a formidable musician, it’s her onstage ease and crackling wit that make each show feel like a knee-to-knee conversation in a room of 5 or 500. “The real deal.” – Ron Sexsmith

Mike Biggar

Mike Biggar

We’ve hosted Mike before and he as fabulous! Onstage his style is equal parts gutsy and joyful; a warm, bourbon-esque cocktail of soulful, modern roots & blues, a tonic to any listener thirsty for song writing authenticity and raw, honest performance.
His noted emotional delivery punctuates his acclaimed songs with a throughline of genuineness that is distinct, effective, and maybe even a bit spiritual. His rollicking, high energy vocals steam down the line like a roots-inspired freight train, perfectly paired with infectious melodies and mingled with his warm, disarming humour.
Biggar has been honoured with numerous regional awards in his 10-plus years career from both the East Coast Music Association and Music New Brunswick, including ‘Blues Album of the Year’, ‘Inspirational Album of the Year’ and more.

Jon Cornwall

Jon Cornwall

Jon Cornwall writes sad songs anyone can enjoy! He has shared the stage with Canadian icons Jimmy Rankin, Ron Sexsmith, Lennie Gallant, Kim Stockwood and Steve Poltz, and they all thought he sang some tunes! Sexsmith said he’d take Jon on tour if he could afford to, and Poltz even invited him to come share mic and sing some Grateful Dead duets!

With honorable mention from the Billboard Songwriting Competition, and a live to air performance on the CBC, he’s basically the greatest thing you’ve probably never heard! Prolific too – his second album, is set to be released in Summer 2024.
